 The chase for the cup continues! The San Jose Sharks will visit the St. Louis Blues for game 1 of the NHL’s Western Conference Finals on Sunday, May 15th at 8pm EST. Watch these two hockey teams in their quest for the Stanley Cup online here!

The NHL playoffs are down to the final four teams. In the East it’s the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Meanwhile, the Western Conference Finals features a showdown between the San Jose Sharks and the St. Louis Blues. These guys are beat up and tired. When the puck drops on the last playoff round before the Stanley Cup Championships, both the San Jose Sharks and St. Louis Blues will begin on equal ground. But the teams are coming off brutal second rounds which both went the full 7 games. These guys have also exercised some demons getting here. The Sharks were able to get past their rival Los Angeles Kings and the Blues finally knocked off the Chicago Blackhawks.
Then there was the second round work. Blues needed 7 before getting past the Dallas Stars and it took the Sharks the same amount to move past the Nashville Predators. Logan Couture will be leading the charge for the Sharks and is heading into this series absolutely on fire. Meanwhile the Blues star goaltender Brian Elliot is under the gun. Brian’s performance in the playoffs has been inconsistent and if he can’t keep the horns off, his time between the pipes may come to an abrupt end.

 These two teams are evenly matched despite their different styles on the ice. The Sharks like to fly around the puck and play loose while the Blues play with much more structure, discipline and raw muscle. This series will be a struggle for both clubs and is expected to go another 7 games before one of them get the ticket to the NHL Finals.
